Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ Participates in Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week

Campus Ministry, along with Siena Leadership Team, Student Honors Board, Resident Advisors, and the Psych Club, hosted Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week at Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ starting November 18, with the Hunger Banquet in Creekside Room.

On November 19, SLT presented the movie "Just Eat It" in Creekside Room from 6-8 p.m. The Psych Club also staged a Winter Clothing Drive with a drop-off in Bertrand Hall.

November 21 was a full day dedicated to hunger and homelessness awareness. From 8:30-10:30 a.m. there was bagel fundraiser in Guzman Hall that raised nearly $400 for Ambassador of Hope and Opportunity (AHO). That event was followed by a lunchtime event on the Caleruega Dining Hall Plaza featuring the Happys band.

From 6-8 p.m. youth speakers shared their experiences with Ambassadors of Hope and Opportunity at a keynote address in Creekside Room before a Solidarity Sleep Out on Caleruega Dining Hall Plaza began at 9 p.m. followed by the Solidarity Sleep Out Reflection breakfast at 7:30 a.m. on Friday in Caleruega Dining Hall.
